A perfect book for learning about the fall season. There are four books in this series – they work well together as a group to talk with children about seasons. The other titles are: Fletcher and the Snowflake Christmas, Fletcher and the Springtime Blossoms, and Fletcher and the Summer Show. This story has a sweetness that is very appropriate to young children. I explored this book further in this feature article.
From the Book:
“Fletcher ran back to his tree and patted the rough bark.
