No Two Alike

January 12, 2023 by Sarah Laucks

A wonderful board book, featuring the winter season, and full of repetitive text that helps little ones as they learn language.

This book is one of my favorites for showing young children the uniqueness of each and every thing in their world … including themselves!

From the Book

“No two snowflakes are alike,
almost, almost . . .
but not quite.“

Where We Found This Book

With appreciation to my son’s preschool teacher for connecting us to this book.

She included it on a shelf in her classroom. Her students always had time each day for free reading books of their choice and this book was my son’s favorite. We of course had to get our very own copy :).

He is a big boy now, but we still have it on the shelf, and yes, we still read it. Part of my philosophy that a great reading environment is one where children are given free rein to read books that are below and above their reading levels.

Get the Book No Two Alike

No Two Alike is available in both board book (best for very young children) and picture book formats. It is widely available at the many places you can buy new books.

To buy the book online, I recommend you purchase the new version from Bookshop.org, where every purchase you make supports independent book shops. Or purchase this book used from Thriftbooks.com (for slightly less cost than that of a new book).
