Beehive Books and Art Affiliate Disclosure

In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about all links, posts, photos, status updates, Instagram pictures, eBooks and other material on the BeehiveBooksandArt.com website:

Any/all of the links on this website are affiliate links of which Beehive Books and Art could receive a small commission from sales of certain items while the price is the same for you.

What is an Affiliate Link?

You’ve probably heard the words “affiliate link” before. And you might think that when you click on any link of a website with affiliate links that you are being charged in some way. This is not the case! Let me explain how affiliate links work in general:

Affiliate links are words or pictures that are clickable on any blog or website which, enable the seller (for example Amazon Prime) to give credit to the website for sending a customer (the person clicking the link) to their website. Such as “Buy” links on each of my posts reviewing or featuring books.

This is one way of earning commissions for customer referrals online. Even though a reader may click on a link and make a purchase, the price is still the same whether they use the link or not. Clicking on the link only redirects you to a page on another website. There is usually no compensation for this. However, when you click on an affiliate link and then purchase from that affiliate link the “referrer” (for example Beehive Books and Art) will be paid a small referral commission (enough to buy coffee, but not a bookstore).

Affiliate links are a way for you to support content you find valuable. If you love the content of my website and would like to help support my efforts to spread the word about raising readers, great kids books, the beautiful work by illustrators, and interest-lead art and activities, you can simply use my affiliate links to purchase items you already planned to purchase! The cost is the same for you either way.

There are so many products and services online that have “affiliate programs”  or “referral programs” however, Beehive Books and Art only uses affiliate links to products that I have personally used and recommend. This means that some of the links you may see on BeehiveBooksandArt.com are affiliate links. You could search for these items outside of my website and buy them for the same price, however when you use my link it helps me to continue sharing on my website.

My promise to you is that I will always be completely forthright and totally honest in my reviews and recommendations. Every book that I write about is a book that I have read myself and with kids, and that I completely love! Every activity is an activity I have tested with kids to ensure it is kid-approved!

I created this website to promote the incredible world of kids books (children’s literature) and that will remain my purpose. However, just to cover all the bases, go ahead and assume that any link on my website may be an affiliate link and I may make a commission if you end up purchasing the recommended product.
