Why This Book
This book offers a different take on the traditional alphabet book – and I find that to be refreshing.
If you are a family who lives on a homestead or farm, if you follow an animal-based diet, if you are members of Weston A. Price Foundation, or follow similar dietary principles – this books supports all that you are doing and will be relatable for your children.
This book was published by a small publishing house. This type of publishing leads to content that doesn’t follow a set template. As I mentioned previously in this article, it’s refreshing. Smaller publishers also bring us voice we might not hear otherwise – giving us what I call diversity of content.
It’s a beautiful book. I love beautiful books for how they enrich life for our children and ourselves.

Looking for Other Alphabet Books That Break the Mold?
While I love the more traditional alphabet books I must admit I am a fan of discovering alphabet books that break that traditional mold.
Another great alphabet book I love is The Hebridean Alphabet. Check my post about it here.
